According to the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA), business incubation is a business support process that accelerates the successful start-up of companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services. These services are developed or coordinated by incubator management and offered both in the business incubator and through its network of contacts. A business incubator’s main goal is to produce successful firms that will leave the program financially viable and freestanding. These incubator graduates have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, commercialize new technologies, and strengthen local and national economies. Business incubators provide management guidance, technical assistance, business consulting and coaching, rented workspace, shared business services/ equipment, technology support services, and access to financing and funding. Incubator Preview Center. Through a first-of-its-kind franchise Institute in Orlando, FranchiseRight currently provides franchise-industry orientation (previews and seminars) and education (workshops and boot camps) for entrepreneurs that want to develop a franchise system or purchase a franchise.Attendees gain access to members of the FranchiseRight Development Network (pre-qualified franchise professionals) and the Coaching Connection (professional coaches and trainers) that offer fee-based services. The FranchiseRight Institute and “virtual” incubator (Phase 1 of our larger incubator initiative) currently operates from our leased “Preview Center.” Planned Facilities. FranchiseRight is in the process of developing a franchise-specific business incubator and franchisee training center in Orlando, Florida, rated the number #1 place to start a business by Entrepreneur Magazine. Approved applicants will lease furnished or unfurnished private offices, workstations, or continue to join us virtually with access to meeting rooms and presentation facilities. More than 25,000 sq. ft. will eventually be utilized by our Incubator and Institute. Our staff will greet your guests, handle deliveries, expertly answer your phone, host your events, arrange your meetings and facilitate other concierge-level services including catering. Administrative support personnel handle your duplication, printing, and binding needs including document tracking and on-demand printing. Notary, shipping, and courier services are available. Specialists provide word processing, QuickBooks input and maintenance, direct mailing, and maintain you contact database, The facility will support your corporate culture and provide creature comforts like kitchen facilities, beverage service, upscale restrooms, and janitorial services. Services, except leased offices are currently offered through our Incubator Preview Center. Metrics. As members of the National Business Incubation Association, we are required to track and report the impact that the FranchiseRight incubation program has on the local economy. Our metrics include the number of clients served, the total number of program graduates from inception, and those graduate firms who are still in business or have been acquired. Each client or graduate firm is tracked for current employees and the current monthly compensation of each employee, gross revenues, and the dollar amount of grant, debt, and/or equity capital raised. That’s why the private FranchiseRight incubator gets the support of FranchiseRight Network members, the Franchise industry, potential funders, sponsors, university and public incubators and business support organizations, banks, private equity funds, angel groups, local government, and the public in general. We operate under the guidance of an NBIA certified incubator manager. |
